Elisabet Sahtouris is a biologist and deep ecologist. In this 2011 TEDx talk she challenges the neo-Darwinian assumption that life is defined by the idea of “survival of the fittest”. Given the nature of her topic, why has TED not pulled her talk, as they did with Rupert Sheldrake’s? Sheldrake covered similar territory in his presentation. It seems TED is interested in targeting those people and talks which have generated the most “hits”.
