Suitable conditions for life have been found found on Mars. Of course, the assumption is that “life” would be of the same kind as found on Earth, requiring water, Oxygen and so forth. Perhaps “life” is a little more imaginative than our science, and has multiple expressions, some of which are vastly different from Earth biological life.
